We are delighted to welcome Candy Sun to MU as Engagement Manager in our Consumer Practice, based in Shanghai.   Candy joins MU with more than 20 years of executive search experience, bringing deep expertise across the consumer, retail, fashion, luxury, hospitality, F&B, and industrial/manufacturing sectors. With a career focused primarily on China and Asia, and extensive experience delivering cross-border mandates, she brings a strong international perspective and an outstanding track record of helping organisations identify and appoint exceptional leadership talent.   What drew Candy to MU was our global reach, strong reputation, and science-based approach to talent selection — values that closely align with her own professional philosophy.   Over the course of her career, Candy has partnered with the world's most iconic consumer brands. Her deep sector knowledge and sharp understanding of talent dynamics have earned her a strong reputation among multinational and local Chinese business leaders, and her extensive hands‑on experience has enabled her to advise on and close high‑stakes, mission‑critical leadership appointments in the region. Before joining MU, she served as Client Partner, Consumer Practice at FL Executive Search. Prior to that, she spent 15 years at MPS China, where she was Director and a founding member of the Consumer Practice.   As MU continues to strengthen its presence in the region, Candy’s experience will be instrumental in supporting both foreign-invested companies in China and Chinese enterprises expanding globally. Her expertise, market insight, and understanding of leadership needs across China and the wider Asian market make her a valuable addition to our team.
