MB.DRIVE*: Intelligent driver assistance systems for safer and more comfortable driving and parking set a new benchmark. The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz C‑Class comes with comprehensive safety equipment and DISTRONIC distance control as standard in Europe. The saloon is equipped with up to 27 sensors to provide first-class driving assistance. Also on board is a water-cooled high-performance control unit with sufficient power reserves for future functions. Artificial intelligence processes the sensor data in real time to assess the current traffic situation. Depending on the package selected, MB.DRIVE can assist with steering, lane keeping, distance control, braking and acceleration as well as parking and manoeuvring. The pioneering optional assistance functions include, for example, MB.DRIVE ASSIST with a lane-change assistant that takes over lane changes at the touch of the turn-signal stalk.
