World Malaria Day 2026  Uganda continues to carry one of the world’s highest malaria burdens with an estimated 13.2 million cases in 2024, contributing 4.7% of global malaria cases. But we are also among the three African countries leading the way with a national performance framework under the Yaoundé Declaration, showing our commitment to ending malaria for good. we stand with our communities to: • Strengthen early testing and treatment • Protect mothers and children • Promote vaccine uptake • Support prevention through nets and indoor spraying Together, we can reduce the burden.
