It worked! I used Claude Code and the Blender MCP to design a 3D printed pager keychain. It says "LET'S CONNECT!" on the screen. When you tap it with your phone, it takes you straight to my LinkedIn. I'm wearing it to a conference next week and here's how I built it, the process was more involved than I expected: ➡️ For the pager I created an SVG so Claude Code could understand the exact positioning of every element on the front face. The screen, the buttons, the speaker grille, all of it mapped out before any 3D work started. ➡️ Then I used Adobe Firefly with Nano Banana to generate reference images of the pager from multiple angles. I gave Claude Code the SVG, the angle references, and my existing NFC keychain model so it understood how the cavity needed to work. ➡️ I still had to do a lot of editing with code to get it right. But it came out almost exactly like I wanted. I also built a skill from everything I learned during this project. So now when I want to build a new NFC keychain design, I don't start from scratch. The knowledge is already there. And I could eventually sell the files if I wanted to. I may add a belt clip on the back for the next conference so I can wear it instead of just carrying it. And if you're just finding this, I've been building NFC keychains with Claude Code and Blender, documenting the whole process here. What NFC keychain would you want to see me design next? #ATD2026 #ATD26 #AIinLearning #LearningandDevelopment
