Great days at our Global Key Account Workshop. One thing stood out in particular: how diverse our international team is and with that, how differently people experience and prefer coffee. That reflects the reality of our global customers as well. A convenience store or petrol station has very different needs from a bakery, an international coffeehouse chain, or a QSR concept. That is exactly the challenge: creating coffee solutions that work across very different concepts, operating environments, and consumer expectations. During the last three days we did a deep-dive into product updates, payment solutions and AI use-cases but most importantly into the question what truly defines quality in the cup. A key discussion was how cup quality can be adjusted very precisely from Value Shot to Quality Shot depending on the concept and customer need. Followed by some hands-on-work on recipe settings and cocktail mixing. Another important takeaway was the real strength of premium fully automatic machines: consistency. If dose weight and extraction time can be closely monitored and kept constant, reliable and repeatable coffee quality becomes possible. Even across very different customer settings.
