melino staff picks – favorite albums At melino, we work with royalties, contracts, and data. But at the core of it all is music. Every week, someone from our team shares an album they love. Marit Posch - Business Development & Marketing “I can’t name a single all-time favourite album, so instead here’s one of my top records from 2025: Roomer "Leaving It All to Chance". There’s a dark, introspective mood running through the whole album, driven by the tension between heavy, distorted guitar layers and the calm, gentle presence of the female singer’s voice. That contrast gives the songs their depth and creates a balance between melancholia and something quietly soothing. Roomer are three young musicians based in Berlin, all involved in other solo or band projects as well. You can hear that experience in the songwriting. The songs feel thought-through, confident, and emotionally precise without losing their raw edge. I saw them live twice last year and was struck by how well they translate this into a live setting. They build dense soundscapes that keep growing, pulling you in slowly and creating a very special atmosphere.”
