First Class Honours. BA Business Management. LSBU, 2026. I’m not going to pretend this came easily or that I had the support system most people assume exists behind a result like this. I did this largely alone. Through mental and physical illness. Through trauma, old and new, that didn’t wait politely for me to finish my degree. Through budgeting so tight there was no margin for error. Through adjusting to a place that never quite felt like anywhere. Through the kind of hardship that doesn’t make it onto a CV or a highlight reel. What I had was Allah, one person who showed up when it counted, my mental health advisor, Miss Hayley, and spite. Genuinely, spite. The kind that quietly decides it will not be beaten. I don’t share this for sympathy. I share it because somewhere someone is in the middle of something similar, convinced that the result they’re working toward isn’t possible for someone in their position. It is. First class. Mine. Alhamdulillah.
