🩺🤖 We are opening the doors to a new era in healthcare with artificial intelligence. As part of the Türkiye Artificial Intelligence Summit held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, signatures were signed for the “Development of a Cardiovascular Clinical Decision Support System (Cardio-LLM) with a Specialized Turkish Large Language Model for Healthcare” project, which will be carried out through the collaboration of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, İstanbul Medipol University, Ankara Medipol University, Innova Information Technologies, and VeriUs. The project, which will be implemented within the scope of the “Turkish Large Language Foundation Model Sectoral Adaptation Project” call announced by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, aims to strengthen clinical decision support processes and develop innovative healthcare technologies through a Turkish large language model specifically designed for cardiology. As İstanbul Medipol University, we are participating in the project as a data provider partner, contributing to the development of AI-powered healthcare solutions and supporting the advancement of Türkiye’s digital health ecosystem. On behalf of İstanbul Medipol University, the project is led by Ahmet Kaplan, Chair of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering at the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. By combining our scientific expertise with advanced technologies, we will continue to take part in pioneering initiatives that shape the future of healthcare. 🚀🩺
