One Graduate, One Story: Şeyma Atilla | Preschool Teacher “I graduated from the Child Development Program at İstanbul Medipol University Vocational School in 2018. 🎓 Following my graduation, I completed my bachelor’s degree at Istanbul University through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS). The education I received at Medipol laid one of the most important foundations of my professional journey with its strong academic staff, practice-oriented approach, and curriculum that closely follows current developments. During this period, I not only gained a scientific perspective on child development but also improved my skills in observation, assessment, and developing approaches tailored to children’s individual needs. ✨ The knowledge and experience I gained at Medipol enabled me to approach children’s developmental areas holistically and to plan the educational process while recognising that every child is unique. It also greatly contributed to my embracing patience, empathy, and effective communication—some of the most essential values of my profession. Following my graduation, I began my career as a teacher at Terakki Foundation Schools. Contributing to children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development and creating a learning environment where they can express themselves confidently have become my most valuable responsibilities. 🧠✏️ I believe that education is not simply about transferring knowledge, but about making a meaningful difference in a child’s life.
