30 Years. One Legacy. Thank You, Gernot Ringling. This month, we marked the official retirement of our Vice Regional Head for Messe Düsseldorf for Asia (MDfA) and Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia, Gernot Ringling. With close industry partners and friends gathering for his farewell party last evening, we celebrated his achievements and toasted to his successful completion of his Asian milestone with Messe Düsseldorf. For 30 years, he has been a constant driving force within the company. He has led and dedicated many years of professionalism to transforming Messe Düsseldorf Asia into a powerhouse of international trade and cooperation. Gernot’s tenure was defined by grit and strategic vision. He navigated the complexities of diverse Asian markets with a firm hand and an adventurous spirit. Beyond the business, he shaped a team culture rooted in long-term cooperation - building a professional family that has stood the test of time alongside him. The growth and stability of Messe Düsseldorf Asia today are direct results of the foundation Gernot built. Even as he moves into the advisory role for our US office, his influence remains the DNA of this team. He leaves behind not just a successful office, but a legacy of mentorship and excellence.
