An AI-plus-clinician framework built strong clinical prediction models in less than eight hours after just 3–4 feedback rounds. In two clinical challenges, it outperformed commonly used approaches by using AI to scan records for predictive clues while clinicians decided which signals were meaningful enough to include in simple, transparent models.
