There is a parallel universe inside our homes. It’s called “the old device drawer”.   In there you’ll find: • phones that “just need a new charger” since 2021 • notebooks you meant to wipe and sell… two years ago • backup phones you kept “just in case” and never touched again   Most people don’t keep this stuff because they love it, but because selling or returning it feels like work.   That’s why our colleagues at MediaMarkt Turkey started a small experiment in Istanbul: if the drawer won’t go to the store, the store goes to the drawer.   You get an online pre valuation. You pick “delivery at the door”. A team comes by, checks the device, and if you agree, they take it and the money lands in your bank account within 24 hours.   Same drawer. But less guilt... and more value.   Saving twice: on effort.
