Over 100,000 euros. One community. This is what responsibility looks like. Herzenssache has been part of who we are at MediaMarktSaturn for years now. Every Christmas, our team at our headquarter in Ingolstadt gets together – not just to celebrate the holiday season, but to do something meaningful for our community. This year blew us away again: between donations at our Christmas raffle and the matching funds from our leadership team, we raised over 100,000 euros for local social projects. Being one of Ingolstadt's biggest employers comes with responsibility. We're part of this community, and we want to give back to the place that we call our home. Our team's generosity made that clear. We were able to support 30 different organizations this year. Eighteen of them are longtime partners we've worked with before. To twelve causes, that our team brought to our attention, we are donating to for the first time: Places like Elisabeth Hospiz, the Ingolstadt Animal Shelter, Sternenkinder, BRK Wasserwacht – organizations doing incredible work that our colleagues told us needed support. There's one project we want to highlight: Kulturbeutel's "Mutraum" is getting 24,000 euros from us. They use VR technology to help kids and teenagers whose parents are dealing with mental health issues or addiction. It's breaking down stigma, helping people understand each other better.
