Between 15–18 April 2026, the global #journalism community will gather in #Perugia for the International Journalism Festival, and MDIF will be part of an important conversation on turning ideas into impact. Mayuri Mei Lin, MDIF’s Program Director for #SoutheastAsia, will join a panel titled "Turning ideas into real progress: practical ways to get sh* done", moderated by Michaël Jarjour, that tackles a challenge many #news organisations know well: not a lack of ideas, but the difficulty of translating them into meaningful, sustainable outcomes. Drawing on MDIF’s hands-on work with #program participants, Mayuri will share insights into how structured problem-solving can help organizations move forward.
