Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the most significant global health threats of our time, and its impact is even more severe for people living in fragile and conflict-affected settings, where access to infection prevention, diagnostics, and antimicrobials, is limited. During World AMR Awareness Week (18-24 November 2025), we brought together experts and field practitioners for a discussion hosted by the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform. Exploring the intersection between conflict, fragility, and AMR, the shared knowledge and experience of working with and in conflict-affected communities culminated in actionable ways for governments, humanitarian stakeholders, international organisations, academia, civil society, and resource partners to address AMR in some of the world’s most fragile contexts, with lessons relevant worldwide.
