GS MedTech Industry Update - Leadership Appointments - Week 50, 2025 (part 2) Week 50 saw a dense wave of senior executive and board appointments across MedTech, signalling companies preparing for commercial scale, regulatory milestones and capital markets engagement. OssDsign announced a CEO transition. After more than 5 years leading the company through strategic repositioning, growth and margin improvement, Morten Henneveld will hand over to Mark Waugh as CEO. NeuroIntact appointed Dr Charles Edwards II to its Board of Directors as the company advances commercialisation of its VCool™ neuromodulation platform. Berlin Heals Holding AG appointed Rob ten Hoedt as Chairman of the Board, adding decades of global MedTech leadership experience from Medtronic and other board roles. INBRAIN Neuroelectronics appointed Scott Huennekens as Chairman of the Board, bringing a strong track record across surgical robotics, intelligent devices and imaging technologies. Wanda Health appointed Michael Steel as Chairman. He previously founded and led Greenbrook Healthcare and has chaired and advised multiple healthtech companies. Qaelon Medical appointed Andreas Lutz as Senior Advisor for Global Technical Strategy. He brings more than 30 years of experience across minimally invasive surgery, insufflation and robotic platforms. Medtronic appointed Ingrid Goldberg as Vice President and Head of Investor Relations. Ryan Weispfenning transitions to a new role within MiniMed after a decade leading IR. Foundation Surgical appointed David H. as Vice President of Market Development to support commercial scale-up of Interwedge® and Vertiwedge®. Evido Health appointed Kristian Villumsen as Chair of the Board, succeeding Jens Kristian Damsgaard, as the company scales its CE-certified LiverPRO software for early liver disease detection. Adagio Medical Inc. appointed Sean Salmon to its Board of Directors as the company advances its cardiac ablation technologies. Boston Scientific (Neuromodulation) appointed Scott Kreiner, MD as Chief Medical Officer, bringing over 25 years of interventional pain management experience and leadership roles at the North American Spine Society and IPSIS. Boston Scientific also recognised Ray Baker as he enters retirement.
