LEVEL 3 - Environmental Monitoring At this stage, MEC designs and implements environmental monitoring programs to support regulatory compliance, approval conditions and operational risk management across the life of a project. This includes establishing baseline datasets, monitoring networks, sampling methodologies, data management protocols and reporting frameworks across key environmental receptors such as water, air, noise, vibration, biodiversity and land disturbance. Monitoring data is analysed to identify trends, trigger thresholds, compliance performance and emerging risks, enabling proactive management and early intervention where required.
