✨ MDI Campus Glory Series✨ Tata Steel Steel-A-Thon Season 12 is a national case competition focused on solving real-world business challenges. This year’s case revolved around building a scalable strategy to double the retail business of Tata Pravesh, Tata Steel’s steel doors and windows brand. Participants were required to analyze market adoption barriers, channel inefficiencies, long lead times, and dealer viability in a wood-dominated landscape, while delivering practical, data-backed solutions integrating strategy, operations, and customer experience. For Team Scene STEELers (Abhishek Kumar, Yagyant Thacker, Dr. Varun Gupta) the experience was highly enriching and closely mirrored real-world business problem-solving. Working on a live industry case required balancing strategic ambition with operational feasibility, while addressing key constraints like supply chain efficiency, channel economics, and category adoption. The journey strengthened the team’s understanding of ecosystem-led growth, the role of on-ground influencers in retail decisions, and the importance of execution-driven strategy.
