Balaji is a seasoned finance professional with a pedigree that includes some of the world's most prestigious institutions. Before becoming CFO at Uber, he held several pivotal leadership roles within the company, including VP of Strategic Finance & Investor Relations, where he managed critical relationships with the global investment community. His professional foundation was built during a near-decade-long tenure at Goldman Sachs as Vice President of Equity Research, focusing on US Hardware and Communications Technology. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School CFO Leadership Program, Balaji has consistently combined deep analytical depth with visionary leadership. From his early roles as an Area Manager at iTrust and a Research Analyst at Crisil, he has risen to lead an accelerating core business supported by tremendous growth across consumers, drivers, and merchants.
