Bachelor’s Thesis Awarded the Highest Grade – “Very Good”! Congratulations to Levi Böhnke on successfully completing his Bachelor’s thesis at Bremen University of Applied Sciences! In his thesis, “Development and Design of a Modular Axial Fan for Application-Specific Customization Using Interchangeable Modules,” Levi developed and evaluated an innovative concept for modular axial fans. The project focused on modern EC fans (Smart Fans) and explored how intelligent modular designs can improve energy efficiency, flexibility, and overall performance. In addition to developing new fan concepts, the thesis examined key aspects such as efficiency, noise reduction, and scalability. The results demonstrate the significant potential of modular Smart Fan solutions for future applications in ventilation and cooling technology, contributing to the development of more sustainable and energy-efficient fan systems.
