Great to see the Berlin University Alliance confirmed for another seven years of funding in the federal–state Excellence Strategy. This continuation reflects the collaborative work of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, together with many researchers, staff and partners across the city. As our Scientific Director Maike Sander notes: "Congratulations to the Berlin University Alliance! The close collaboration among Berlin’s diverse institutions makes the city a unique hub for science and innovation. The Berlin University Alliance reinforces this shared commitment and brings our expertise even closer together. Expanding our shared infrastructure strengthens research at the Max Delbrück Center as well as the wider Berlin research ecosystem.
