Ideas earn attention. Systems build pipeline. I do both.

If you believe in outsized, frontier-driven returns, your move is clear: Pakistan is the play. Investors hunt for the next asymmetric frontier before it becomes consensus... Pakistan checks every box: undervalued assets, demographic tailwinds, energy transition, digital acceleration, and macro discipline. Today is the best day to join the front to invest in, and to build, globally competitive businesses operating out of Pakistan... especially in tech and creative space. Here are some reasons why I'm bullish on Pakistan (and link to an article for further reading at the end): - Massive working-age growth: Pakistan will add 89 million people to its working-age population by 2050—more than the net addition from the rest of the world (excluding Africa) combined—and its workforce growth will be two-thirds of India’s entire increase. - Approaching the demographic dividend: Pakistan is still in the “pre-dividend” phase, meaning its age dependency ratio has yet to fall into the 50–55% sweet spot where productivity surges—so its high-growth phase is only just beginning in the 2030s - $33 billion in remittances: In 2024, Pakistan’s diaspora sent home $33 billion, up at a ~7% CAGR over the last decade—faster than GDP growth—and demonstrating a global network of skilled professionals. - Exportable human capital: As global labor shortages intensify, Pakistan is uniquely positioned to export talent across healthcare, logistics, construction, and technology industries. - 450,000 software engineers: Official estimates put Pakistan’s software-engineer headcount at 450 thousand, creating a deep bench for tech hiring. - 1.5 million GitHub contributors: There are 1.5 million GitHub accounts registered in Pakistan, underscoring a vast community of active developers. - 17 GW solar imports: In 2024 Pakistan imported 17 gigawatts of solar panels—more than double 2023—and is now the world’s sixth-largest solar market, dramatically lowering energy costs for industry. - 283,000 net-metering customers: The number of rooftop solar adopters surged 25% in just the last two months of 2024, passing 283 thousand—a sign of formal-economy growth and reliable power to fuel businesses. - Cheaper energy & storage: Decentralized solar plus plunging battery-storage costs (down 86% over the past decade) will stabilize the grid, cut operating expenses, and raise productivity—key for any remote or on-site team leveraging Pakistani hires.
