🎉 Thrilled to Announce My New Publication! Alhamdulillah, our research article has been published as an Open Access article in Cambridge Prisms: Global Mental Health (Cambridge University Press)—a Q1 journal in Psychiatry & Mental Health and Health Policy (SJR 2025: 1.369 | H-index: 26). As the lead researcher, I was involved throughout the entire research process—from conceptualizing the study and developing the analytical framework to data analysis, spatial visualization, manuscript writing, and revision. 📄 Title: Intimate Partner Violence and the Dual Burden of Anxiety and Depression Among Women in Zambia: Spatial Inequalities and Implications for the Sustainable Development Goals 🔗 Read the Article: https://lnkd.in/ganQ3Z5k 📊 Dataset: Zambia Demographic and Health Survey (ZDHS) 2024 (DHS Program) 🔍 What This Study Explores: Using nationally representative ZDHS 2024 data, we examined how intimate partner violence (IPV) is associated with anxiety and depression among women in Zambia, identified spatial inequalities, and discussed implications for achieving SDG 3 and SDG 5. 📌 Key Highlights: ✔ IPV was significantly associated with anxiety and depression. ✔ Pronounced spatial disparities were identified across Zambia. ✔ Findings support evidence-based mental health and gender-based violence interventions.
