A transformative $50-million gift is paving the way for McMaster University to become a global leader in kinesiology and healthspan research.      The investment supports a vision of increasing the healthspan of people around the world — the years of life lived in good health, with independence and freedom from disease.      The gift, from alumna Dr. Marcy McCall MacBain and John McCall MacBain, with the McCall MacBain Foundation, is the largest philanthropic investment in kinesiology in Canadian university history.      It will unite experts from across disciplines and establish the McCall MacBain Kinesiology and Healthspan Institute, four McCall MacBain Chairs in Healthy Living and the Marcy C. McCall Kinesiology Scholarships.     The Institute will serve as a global research hub where science is translated into real-world solutions and evidence-informed policy — improving lives and shaping the future of health.     Learn more: https://ow.ly/fY6F50Zb64C
