Thank you to McMaster alumna, donor and volunteer Susan C. for visiting students from the Susan Cunningham Science Leadership Academy, founded through her transformative $2.7 million gift in 2024. Her generosity and continued engagement are shaping how future scientists develop as leaders. As the Academy nears the end of its inaugural cohort, students reflected on the impact of personalized coaching, emotional intelligence and opportunities to practice their leadership, while Susan shared insights from her own leadership development journey that encouraged confidence, curiosity and growth. Thank you to Provost and Vice-President (Academic) Maureen MacDonald for joining the celebration and for her continued commitment to supporting student success. We are proud to see this first cohort nearing completion, and we are deeply grateful to Susan for her vision, leadership and commitment to student success.
