Applications are now open for four McCall MacBain Chairs in Healthy Living at McMaster University. Established through a transformative $50-million gift from McMaster alumna Dr. Marcy McCall MacBain, BSc ’00, LLD ’24 and John McCall MacBain, with the McCall MacBain Foundation, these endowed Chairs will help shape the future of healthy living and healthspan research. These Chairs anchor the new McCall MacBain Kinesiology and Healthspan Institute, a joint initiative between the McMaster Department of Kinesiology in the McMaster Faculty of Science and the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact in the Faculty of Health Sciences. Three Chairs will be appointed within the Department of Kinesiology, while the McCall MacBain Chair in Evidence-Informed Health Policy will be appointed within the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact.
