Among the most appalling scenes of the new Trump regime (there are so many!) were the repugnant actions of JD Vance in Germany. He again embraced extremism, challenged 75 years of American commitment to Europe’s security, interfered in a key NATO ally’s election, and used a brave Holocaust survivor for a photo opportunity.
