McKinnon, in partnership with the University of Melbourne, is pleased to announce the shortlisted nominees for the 2025 McKinnon Political Leader of the Year. The McKinnon Prize is Australia’s only independent, non-partisan award dedicated to recognising leaders that demonstrate that politics can be a force for public good. Through a rigorous and transparent process, an independent selection panel made up of prominent Australians assesses nominees against the qualities that matter most: a relentless focus on public impact, vision, integrity, collaboration and a commitment to renewing our democratic institutions.
