The numbers are in. RideWest has officially raised $800,000 for Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) and their mental health programs. Last week, that cheque was delivered. As major sponsor for RideWest, our community came together to ride, donate, and cheer for the cyclists who made the journey and fundraising efforts possible. Together, the McR community raised an incredible $40,000 for one of our longest-standing community partners. Last year, RFDS’ Wellbeing Out West mental health program delivered 959 counselling sessions to people doing it tough. Real dollars, reaching real people in rural and remote Queensland.
