𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. 𝐀 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐜𝐑 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Last week, we welcomed our Brisbane alumni back to celebrate McR’s centenary. While the occasion itself was special, what made the evening truly memorable was the opportunity to reconnect with so many people who have helped shape our story. Former colleagues, mentors and friends came together to share memories, catch up on where life has taken them, and reflect on the experiences and relationships forged throughout their time at McR. The warmth, energy and genuine joy in the room were palpable. Conversations flowed easily, old friendships picked up where they left off, and there was a shared appreciation for the role our people have played in building the firm we are today. For many of us, McR is more than just a place we’ve worked. It’s where careers began, lifelong friendships were formed, and enduring connections were built. A reminder that while much has changed over the past 100 years, the strength of our community has remained constant. To everyone who joined us, thank you. Your contribution to our story continues to shape who we are today, and it was a privilege to celebrate this milestone alongside you.
