New collaboration: MB Energy and Zaffra have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a strategic partnership to advance the commercialisation of eSAF in Europe. Together, we aim to assess how infrastructure and supply chain capabilities can be strengthened across the full value chain – from production and potential hydrogen supply to storage, blending, logistics, and delivery to airports and customers. An initial focus will be “Brandenburg eSAF”, a joint project between Zaffra and ENERTRAG and Germany’s largest planned eSAF production facility. The collaboration also envisages the development of an end-to-end logistics concept for Zaffra’s eSAF project portfolio, helping build scalable and reliable supply chains for aviation. By combining Zaffra’s eSAF development expertise with MB Energy’s infrastructure, logistics capabilities, and market access, this partnership has the potential to accelerate the availability of lower-carbon aviation fuels in Europe while supporting greater energy resilience.
