Last week in Brussels, MBDA showcased the HYDIS project during EDF InfoDays and BEDEX, at the invitation of the European Commission (DG DEFIS). Visitors discovered the future Hypersonic Defence Interceptor System an interceptor mock-up and a video illustrating the engagement of hypersonic threats in a maritime scenario. During those 4 days, the European Commission delegation with the Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius, visited the stand and interacted regarding the Project with the HYDIS representative. 2026 will be a key year for HYDIS, with major milestones ahead to consolidate user requirements and prepare the selection of the final interceptor concept. #MBDA #HYDIS #EuropeanDefence #Hypersonic
