Clouds start with an invisible particle. Building an instrument to see that better took four and a half years and today it's an ETH News piece. The HCCNC was designed to replicate cloud conditions more faithfully than existing instruments. What that means for climate science and for the communities that depend on it, is in the article. Everything about the instrument itself is at https://lnkd.in/eNwf9tgK. The version in the video is our current lab prototype. The next phase: a compact, user-friendly instrument for the global scientific community via RepliClouds. Thanks a lot to Nicole Davidson and ETH communication team for the careful storytelling, to the ETH Zürich, ETH Entrepreneurship, Department of Environmental Systems Science (D-USYS), ETH Zürich for making this next phase possible, and to ETH for Development - ETH4D, ETH Foundation for their support.
