We are well over a month into the MOTUS rollout, allegedly twenty years into the build, and I cannot emphasize this enough: THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY RELIES ON THIS DATA. Right now, the source of truth is telling freight brokers to hire carriers they shouldn’t be hiring, and underwriters that all flatbed operators haul hazmat, and troopers that out-of-service carriers are legally authorized to operate.
