CBDO @ Sigli | Business Operations, Digital Transformation and Commercial Strategy in B2B Tech.

New episode of Innovantage Podcast is live, continuing our series in partnership with BMI Executive Institute. This time I sat down with Monika Laukaite, senior operations and site leadership executive at Wix and current EMBA participant at BMI Executive Institute. Monika oversees R&D and engineering sites across Lithuania, Berlin, Amsterdam, London and Dublin, so this conversation quickly moved from AI theory into operational reality. We talked about what AI transformation actually looks like inside a company operating at serious scale. Where do you start? How do you avoid forcing tools people do not understand? How do you measure whether anything is actually improving? And what breaks first when a company keeps growing across markets? One point that stayed with me is that transformation does not really “end”. You do not finish it, tick the box and move on. The tools change, the teams change, the company changes, and leadership has to keep catching up. We also got into career paths, networking, Lithuanian tech culture, and a fake Zoom scam story that almost got me. A very grounded episode for anyone trying to make AI useful inside a real organisation, not just impressive in a roadmap. What do you think is the hardest part of AI transformation: choosing the right tools, changing habits, or measuring impact?
