Taylor Akinbode joined MAX in November 2021 as a Portfolio Analyst. Since then, he has progressed to Senior Associate in Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting, and he currently serve as Manager, Recovery Operations (West Africa). But titles only tell part of the story. What the journey has really looked like is growth in real time. It meant long days digging into numbers to understand the story behind the data. It meant tough conversations, bold decisions, and learning how to balance empathy with performance. The most rewarding part? Seeing the impact beyond the spreadsheets. Knowing that every improved process, every recovered asset, every strengthened control system contributes to stability, not just for MAX, but for the thousands of riders whose livelihoods depend on what we build. Growth hasn’t been accidental. It’s come from saying yes to responsibility. From staying curious. From being willing to learn, unlearn, and relearn.
