One of the year's biggest sequels is on Roblox. Released on June 12th, Grow a Garden 2 is the follow up to last year's breakthrough hit game Grow a Garden from Splitting Point Studios and Do Big Studios. How does the new game compare with the original? Well, the sequel has not caught fire like the original did last year. GaG 2's peak concurrent user (CCUs) thus far have reached "only" 960K, which is far below the original game's record of 22.38M. Does that make GaG 2 a failure? Not at all. In the month since its release, GaG 2 has performed incredibly well by most standards: - Consistently ranked among top 5 most-played games on Roblox by CCUs - Over 1 billion lifetime visits - Over 20 minute average session time (since June 29) Grow a Garden 2 is definitely popular. It's just not as popular as Grow a Garden was last year. This really shows how incredible Grow a Garden's success was last summer.
