A win for disability rights! Our client was told he had to choose between his voluntary organisation and his psychiatric assistance dog, Annie. We said that was disability discrimination, and the Full Federal Court agreed. When that decision was challenged, the High Court of Australia refused to hear the appeal. The victory stands. A significant result for our client and for everyone who relies on an assistance animal to participate in public life.
