According to Henry Nasella, Partner & Co-Founder of private equity firm LNK Partners, “Great companies have great cultures that really help sustain the success of a business. We believe in backing brands because brands have inherent resiliency.” Join the Get Hired Up Podcast to hear us explore: • Why ventures often fail • Why LNK doesn’t work with early-stage businesses or distressed assets • Their work with founders and management teams to leverage value drivers • His journey from Staples President private equity partner, mentor, and M&A expert • And much more Henry Nasella co-founded LNK in 2005 and has over 25 years of operating experience and 21 years of private equity experience in the consumer and retail sector. Henry is currently non-executive Chairman of PVH and serves on the Board of Directors of Schweiger Dermatology and Northeastern University. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of Ariat, Natural Food Holdings, Au Bon Pain, Staples, Panera Bread, Denny’s, Spyder Active Sports, Ulta Beauty, and Blinds-To-Go. Henry received a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University, where he is a Chair Emeritus and Trustee. According to Henry: “Every CEO we have ever backed at LNK partners is a personal investor in one or more of our funds. They obviously don't have to do that. But for us, the partnership goes far beyond just the financial aspect of a transaction, how much money the company makes, or LNK makes to really, you know, developing lifelong friendships. And I think in business, sometimes people kind of overlook the importance of that. It isn’t a one-and-done for us. My partner and I have the philosophy that you treat people the way you want to be treated. And that's typically a very good philosophy to have and certainly in our business, and personal lives, it's done well by us.” Join our conversation by following the link in the comments! #gethiredup #podcast #privateequity #ventures #M&A #businessrelationships #valuedrivers #sustainability #leadership #mentorship
