Dear network, I'm delighted to share that, as of this month, I have taken on the role of Deputy Managing Director at the EGTC Euregio Maas-Rhein. It is a great honour to join the organisation in this capacity, and I look forward to working with colleagues and partners across the region to strengthen cross-border cooperation. Our Euregio brings together five partner regions - the Province of Limburg (NL), the Province of Limburg (BE), the Province of Liège, East Belgium, and the Aachen Region Association - from Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. Together, they cover an area of approximately 10,700 km² and are home to around 4 million people who speak Dutch, French, or German. Jointly, we work to reduce the barriers and obstacles that arise from national and regional borders, creating tangible benefits for citizens, businesses, and institutions across all our regions.
