For 24 years since Corngate, which the Sunday Star-Times recalls today, Helen Clark’s “sanctimonious little creep” has been the ultimate New Zealand political put-down … but, with “a cast of embittered political zombies [shuffling] back onto the scene”, The Post’s Andrea Vance may finally have supplanted it in her column on NZ First.
