Medical Student | Incoming iBSc Sports & Exercise Med | UCL | ARSM

I'm proud to announce that I will be doing my iBSc in Sports Med! Statistically, this is the most competitive iBSc to apply for at UCL due to its popularity and minimal spaces. I attended and completed a lot of activities outside of core content, such as essay competitions, research projects, working on a 1st author publication, and leaving at 3:30am to go to a Sports Medicine Conference in Leeds 😭 Literally did anything and everything I could to secure my 1st choice! Sometimes to get something you want so badly, you need to make sacrifices. The main thing I learnt, is what you have done even before university matters so much. I talked about things I did in sixth form such as my EPQ on Bone Density, completing a Sports Leadership Qualification, and how sports has helped with my physical health throughout the years. Sports and exercise itself has helped me a lot on my recovery from depression, and to be someone so passionate about how exercise can improve your life, physically, socially and mentally, I hope to gain a lot from completing this iBSc. Most importantly, SEM will shape my approach to patient care as a doctor through exercise. Thank you Jason Senoo for your support in understanding the course and the application for this iBSc!
