What started as a simple idea—finding the right gear to represent our veteran community at Yale School of Management —quickly became something much bigger. After a lot of back and forth about what to order, I came across Crew Dog , a Yale University-founded startup that was gaining momentum and showing up regularly in my social media feeds. I reached out to co-founders Constantine Polychronopoulos & Coby Wagonfeld with an idea: what if we didn’t just make gear for Yale SOM veterans, but created something that spoke to the broader community of veterans in higher education? Something that honored our shared experiences and the new chapters we’re writing together. On July 4th, I was incredibly proud to officially launch the Veterans Collection with the Crew Dog team, a line that reflects what it means to serve beyond the uniform. Transitioning out of the military is no small thing. You lose the rhythm, the brotherhood, the clarity of purpose. This collection was built to help reclaim that sense of identity, foster genuine connection, and remind us all that service doesn’t end, it simply changes shape. As a board member of Crew Dog and Director of Veteran Outreach, it’s been an honor to help bring this vision to life. Even more meaningful, 5% of all military sales from the collection go directly to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause that is deeply personal to me and profoundly impactful to so many. And we’re just getting started. Any school or organization can work with us to create a fully customized design that matches their mascot, school spirit, or unique identity. It’s a way to bring your community together while honoring the legacy and future of those who’ve served. Grateful to work alongside Constantine and Coby in building something that gives back, and represents who we are, and who we continue to become. #veterans #fromservicetoschool #veteransinbusiness See the Veteran Collection here ——> https://lnkd.in/eQGxmcPT Yale Veterans Association Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (Tsai CITY) Ivy League Veterans Council
