Today was another day dedicated to protecting our schools, houses of worship, and communities. CLPS provided a full-day training in threat management to community leaders, school officials, mental health professionals, and law enforcement at the Richard Martinkovic Public Safety Training Center in Sullivan County, NY. The recent targeted attacks at Brown University and in Sydney, Australia, indicate we cannot become complacent. Early threat identification and prevention is critically important to safeguarding innocent people from these types of preplanned targeted acts of terror.
