🤗 Pleased to share our new article: **“Behçet’s syndrome incidence and prevalence in Sardinia: implications of a latent class analysis combining administrative and clinical data.”** now online in *Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology*: https://lnkd.in/dRNp-gSV ➡️ Our findings confirm that Behçet’s syndrome remains a rare disease in Sardinia, with an estimated 2016 prevalence of **11.7 per 100,000 inhabitants**, and highlight the limitations of relying on a single data source for epidemiological estimates. ‼️🚨This work underscores the value of combining real-world administrative data with clinical validation to improve rare disease surveillance and support healthcare planning.
