"As a first-gen student who knew from a young age that I wanted to pursue a 4 year degree, I felt as if I’d been mentally planning my college application process since middle school. Now, I can confidently say that the hardest part of the application process for me was deciding on the college that fitted my interests, personality, and career aspirations best. Claremont McKenna College (CMC) was initially not on my college list, as I was clueless about the liberal arts system and thought for so long that I wanted a bigger school. It was because of Adam, my Matriculate Advising Fellow who helped me with my CMC fly-in application (which I later attended and LOVED), that I decided to confidently ED.
