Head of Marketing & Growth at Founders Law
Went to a tennis "networking" event the other week. They took some photos 📸. One of (the 250), which I would say looks fairly impressive, bordering on artistic, possibly could be the next Emma Raducanu... so, of course, we must get it on LinkedIn ASAP so everyone can see my tennis prowess. At Founders Law, we like to do things a bit differently, so swapping a meeting room for a tennis court and connecting with people over the net, quite literally, felt very "on brand". It turns out it’s also a far more enjoyable way to meet people. Less posturing, more rallying. No panels, more actual conversations. I probably won't be entering Wimbledon any time soon, but it was highly enjoyable, and I would recommend networking in trainers more often. Massive thanks to Josh Pistorius of FIFTH SET for organising and hosting. P.S. If you need a laugh this morning, please find evidence of Tom Bohills insisting that "the ball was in"!
