Since the summer has already hit us with a little too many heat waves, it only made sense to dedicate July's meet the team post to someone that excels at putting out fires 🔥 .    This month's post is dedicated to Janna Slabbekoorn, one of team of senior project managers.     🎓 Originally Dutch but also Catalonian by heart, Janna is a nurse by training, which explains why she has always been so good at reading the room and taking care of people before they even know they need it. 👩‍⚕️ She quickly transitioned from nursing into health policy advisory roles, having led health data security audits. She served as a consultant focusing on health ICT, enhancing data safety and sharing in primary and tertiary care settings in the Netherlands. After that, she developed her professional career in International Project Management, participating in the coordination of many EU-funded projects (FP7, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, IMI/ IHI-JU), demonstrating her capability in navigating large and complex multi-stakeholder partnerships. Since she started leading data security audits with ISO standards, holding herself to a high standard is what keeps her going. Along with making sure things get done on time, fires are prevented rather than extinguished, and project partners make efficient and legitimate use of time and resources (she might actually be a financial auditor in disguise).     💙 To us, she is the person you go to when you need to feel heard, supported, and overall have a good time while doing what we do. There are very few rough times she cannot smile through.   We couldn't be happier to have you on the team, comps. 🏖️ Happy summer, everyone! #innovation #management
