Chief Technology Officer at Bosch

At our winter test center in Vaitoudden, Sweden ❄️🥶, we’ve spent the past weeks pushing Bosch technologies to their limits together with our customers on snow and ice. From advanced #braking and #steering systems to #bywire technologies and intelligent #VehicleMotionManagement software, this is where complex systems must prove themselves under real world conditions. At the core is a clear shift. VehicleMotionManagement moves us from isolated components to a fully integrated, cross-domain system. By orchestrating #braking, #steering, #powertrain and #suspension across all degrees of freedom, we turn vehicle dynamics into a software-defined capability. What we validated on the track is exactly this system approach. The interaction between #ADAS and motion control creates a new layer of intelligence that actively stabilizes the vehicle, supports the driver, and keeps the system within safe limits, even at the edge. Equally important is the architecture behind it. Our solutions are hardware-agnostic, modular, and ready to run on both centralized and distributed E/E setups, enabling faster integration and scalable deployment across platforms.  One thing is clear. Our technologies are mature, high performing and ready to scale into the era of the #SoftwareDefinedVehicle. But beyond technology, this is about #collaboration. Testing side by side with our customers, refining systems in real time, and translating software into tangible driving experience. A big thank you to the teams on site for their outstanding commitment during these intense winter months.
