What better way to celebrate five years in Germany than with this milestone. 8 months after finishing school at the Colegio Alemán de Quito back in 2020, I discovered the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. I explored its programs, got accepted, and began my bachelor’s studies in Business Administration. Today I am pursuing my master’s in Entrepreneurship and Digital Business at the same university. Ingolstadt had the perfect environment for me. A calm city with one of the highest qualities of life in Europe. Not only global players like AUDI AG, Airbus Defence and Space, or MediaMarktSaturn are based there, but also an amazing startup ecosystem such as brigk: Digitales Gründerzentrum Ingolstadt. To keep the story short, in 2021 I started working with PHILIPP Troeger and Christopher Kludzeweit. Using a football analogy, I was on loan at BMW Bank GmbH Bank in 2022–2023 and at Cognizant Mobility in 2023–2024, where I learned a lot, met inspiring people, and continued pursuing my dream of working in the automotive industry. 2024 was another year full of learning and joy. I had the chance to compete with Schanzer Racing Electric e.V. in Formula Student Germany in the Cost Report discipline and returned to APP Auto Pflege Partner GmbH. I want to use these 35 seconds of your attention :) (because today everything moves too fast and we all need to be concise) to share a more personal side of my story in Germany. Since I was 18, I have focused on finding what we call hidden champions, staying ready to make the most of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, working with passion, and understanding that effort always compounds over time. That is my advice. Sometimes we just need to open up to new paths or options that the status quo might not consider.
